The Move4Fun project is organising an open class for teachers and educators to learn how to incorporate “fun” as a pedagogical tool.

On the 9th of May, at 12:15, at the University of Oviedo (Spain), representatives from the consortium will present the project, share the findings and results so far, and explain how the Move4Fun APP will help parents, teachers, and others in the promotion of physical activity for the children.

The agenda for the event is:

  • Welcome by Professor Celestino Rodríguez, Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of the University of Oviedo (Spain)
  • Move4Fun project presentation by Dr. Marcos López-Flores, President of the European Network for Innovation and Knowledge (Spain)
  • “Fun as a motivator for physical activity” by Dr. Paul Davis, Professor at Umeå University (Sweden)
  • “Perspectives on Smartphone Applications for Physical Activity Promotion” by Dr. Lúcia Gomes, Assistant Professor at Lusófona University (Portugal)
  • “Active Play: Implementing Fundamental Movement Skills to Engage Children in Sports”, by Dr. Małgorzata Sławińska, Researcher at the Institute of Sport – National Research Institute (Poland)
  • Move4Fun APP presentation by Dr. Pablo Garmen, Associate Professor at the University of Oviedo (Spain)
